“Selling Sunset” star Amanza Smith’s stylist apologized to Chrishell Stause and her partner, G Flip, for allegedly making “homophobic” comments about them.
In a lengthy Instagram post, stylist Sammie Moussallem said the incident between him, Stause and the Australian musician stemmed from “something that happened in 2021” and was a private matter that became public.
“I take full responsibility and accountability for both my actions and words — then and now. I do not want to focus on the past but to move forward and learn from this experience,” he said, referring to him allegedly calling the real estate agent a “fake lesbian.”
“I sincerely apologize to Chrishell and G Flip. I now fully understand the impact of my words, and I am truly sorry. It is not my place, nor is it appropriate, to comment on anyone’s personal life. I am committed to working on myself and how I respond to situations moving forward.”
Moussallem also apologized to Smith for “any stress or harm my words and actions may have caused you, both personally and professionally.”
He said he is “grateful for the opportunities” Smith has given him and that he truly values the relationship they share.
Moussallem concluded his post by saying sorry to the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies, saying that he was a “proud advocate” and committed to “listen, learn, and grow to be a better representative for all.”
During Season 8 of “Selling Sunset,” which premiered on Netflix Sept. 6, Stause, 43, told Smith, 47, that she would not be attending her birthday party if Moussallem were present.
“Is your stylist coming to your birthday party? He’s super homophobic and attacked me and G Flip,” she said.
“I’m not gonna be in the same room as him.”
During a confessional, the “All My Children” alum, who wed G Flip, 30, in May 2023, said the stylist “went on a very public rant,” saying she was a “fake lesbian,” “nothing but a green card to G” and that she needs to get “some d-k in my hole.”
Smith decided that she would not allow Moussallem to come to her party, which Stause said meant a lot to her at the time.
Season 8 of “Selling Sunset” is available to stream on Netflix.
