Adan Banuelos and Bella Hadid got to know each other in close quarters.
During a recent appearance on the “Along For the Ride” podcast, the 35-year-old cowboy revealed his supermodel girlfriend, 27, moved into his 5th-wheel trailer at the start of their romance.
“She did do the 5th wheel, happily,” Banuelos gushed. “It was badass.”
“That 5th wheel has always felt small and then you get, you know, somebody that you enjoy spending time with and that 5th wheel went from a 5th wheel to a f–king mansion,” he joked.
The Texas native said it was important that Hadid understood his lifestyle from the beginning before taking their relationship to the next step.
“It was cool because I really wanted that to be a part of our relationship,” he continued. “You know, you start having feelings for somebody and you start thinking things like, ‘Man, maybe this is the rest of my life here’ and knowing that she is that simple of a human being [and] that the material things aren’t important — or the most important thing.”
Thankfully, Banuelos said Hadid fit right in — and even went above and beyond.
The equestrian said the model would wake up at “2:30 in the morning” to bring everyone breakfast during competitions and was always his No. 1 cheerleader.
“Being that consistent and that uplifting and positive and warm to everybody she meets and helping with horses and stuff like that it’s just freaking amazing,” he added.
Although the pair embraced trailer living for a while, Banuelos revealed Hadid recently bought her own place in Texas.
“I’m working on building a home [but] it’s gonna take me a little bit but she bought something that was a good investment for her,” he shared, noting that they will figure out their home base when the time comes.
Banuelos had nothing but praise for Hadid during the interview and hinted that he sees a long future with the supermodel.
“Man, I can’t tell you how happy I am,” he said. “I can’t tell you how fortunate I am.”
“This young lady is one of the kindest, biggest-hearted and sweet person I’ve [ever met],” he continued. “I mean I didn’t know God made ’em like that.”
Banuelos noted that her external beauty “is nowhere near compared to what she’s like as a human being.”
He also believes she “deserves the best,” which is why he has been working hard to get all his ducks in order so that he can “share that with her.”
“I’m so screwed you guys,” he joked, adding that she is his No. 1 “priority.”
Banuelos is one of the most successful rodeo stars in recent years. In fact, at just 28, he was inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Riders Hall of Fame.
Throughout his career, the horse trainer “has already amassed over five million dollars in earnings,” per his website.
The couple met at a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas nearly a year and a half ago. Banuelos explained they bonded over their mutual love for horses and Hadid’s interest in cutting, a western-style equestrian competition.
“From there it went in a positive direction and she puts up with me and she loves me and I’m head over heels for her,” he added. “It’s been absolutely awesome.”
Banuelos and Hadid first sparked dating rumors in October 2023 after they were spotted holding hands and kissing while out and about in his home state.
Four months later, Hadid hard launched their relationship via Instagram on Valentine’s Day.
Although the lovebirds have spent most of their time in Texas, Banuelos accompanied Hadid to the New York City launch of her Orebella perfume in May.
