Chrishell Stause has breast implants replaced after rupture

Chrishell Stause went under the knife after learning her 15-year-old breast implants “ruptured.”

The “Selling Sunset” star revealed on Instagram Sunday that she underwent her second breast augmentation after a “full body scan” proved her silicone inserts had split.

Stause, 43, said her “first thought was fear,” as she did not know whether “the rupture would lead to any complications.”

“I think that’s the scary part. It actually was a surprise to me,” she said in the video. “I didn’t feel any symptoms. Of course, there are things looking back where it’s like, ‘Oh, could that have been that?’ But I’m not sure.”

Although she had not felt anything weird, the Netflix personality explained that knowing something was wrong in her body created a “mental block.”

“It’s odd,” she said. “I just didn’t like feeling like I could be hurting my body in the long run.”

Stause’s original surgeon was no longer in practice, so she needed to find a new one to “get all of the silicone out.”

She did not have any symptoms.

Eventually, the realtor connected with Dr. Josef Hadeed, with whom she felt she was “in the best hands.”

“If you have aging — or should we say ‘vintage’ — breast implants, you should get them checked out,” she advised her followers.

A ruptured silicone breast implant has a tear or hole in it and often goes unnoticed, according to the Mayo Clinic. While it may “lead to breast pain or changes in the shape of the breast,” it is “not thought to cause breast cancer, reproductive problems or connective tissue disease.”

Stause, who is more than two months post-op, explained in the caption of her video that she is “in no way encouraging anyone to change anything about their body” by sharing her own plastic surgery experience.

“I just didn’t like feeling like I could be hurting my body in the long run,” Stause said of her decision to get the implants removed.
She encouraged any of her followers with “vintage” implants to get them checked out.

“I want to be fully open and transparent about my experience in the hopes it could help anyone else going through this,” she added.

Although some of her “Selling Sunset” co-stars have been open about their cosmetic procedures, Stause rarely talks about her enhancements.

However, this is the second time that she has undergone surgery within the last year or so.

However, the reality TV star made it clear she was not promoting plastic surgery.
Stause said she just wanted to be “fully open and transparent” about her experience.

In February 2023, the “All My Children” alum revealed she had to get “a large ovarian cyst removed.”

At the time, she posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital gown following the “minor surgery.”

Stause explained that she had been experiencing “bad, unexplained cramps” before consulting her doctor and encouraged her fans to seek medical help if they experience similar symptoms.

The reality TV star concluded the message by assuring her followers that she was “feeling good” and “being looked after by my [love],” likely referencing her partner, G Flip.
