C’mon, mom!
Courtney Cox’s daughter, Coco Arquette, is sharing her disappointment over the fact that her mom didn’t pass down her iconic ’90s wardrobe.
“Fun fact — she didn’t save anything for me from the ’90s,” the 20 year old revealed in a recent Refinery29 interview, standing alongside her mother in a black tank top and printed skirt.
“It’s actually very rude.”
“Everyone’s like ‘oh those outfits,” she continued. “No, I don’t have them.”
Cox, 60, who shares Coco with her ex-husband, David Arquette, 52, shook her head in agreement, although the two went on admit that the “Friends” star’s closet is still worth raiding.
When asked who between the two of them is more likely to take something from the other’s wardrobe and not give it back, Coco was quick to admit she was the guilty one.
“Me. 100 percent without a question,” she said, standing in front of Cox, who had on black, lace-trimmed dress for the occasion. “Quickly answered.”
However, there is one red carpet look that Coco did manage to get her hands on: a slightly sheer, embroidered dress that the “Cougar Town” actress debuted on the “Snake Eyes” red carpet in 1998.
“I’m not one to hold onto things,” Cox admitted in the caption of her Instagram post, sharing a side-by-side of herself and her daughter rocking the same look. “But this was a damn good purchase! 21 years later…”
Looks like Coco might have to try aunt Jennifer Aniston’s closet next time as the Lolavie haircare founder recently wore a dress straight from Monica’s “Friends” wardrobe.
