Fans thought Mary Cosby was nearly unrecognizable after the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star shared her latest confessional look on social media on Tuesday.
Cosby uploaded an edited teaser image of her Season 5 confessional look on X earlier this week, though that didn’t stop fans from sharing what seems to be the original photo in the comments.
“Auntie I ain’t recognize you! I’m seeing a bit of Mia from RHOP mixed with facetune,” one X user wrote, referencing Mia Thornton, who stars on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Potomac.” “You look fab without!”
Another said, “God works hard, but @facetune works harder.”
“The FaceTune is FACETUNING! ? Screenshotting to compare to the real thing when it airs,” someone else chimed in.
Some of her other fans were also present in the comments, making sure to compliment the pastor on her youthful look.
“Looking absolutely gorgeous!!! Can’t wait to see more of you,” someone said, adding several heart-eye emojis.
Another social media user said, “Who is this TEENAGER?!? Looking young and stunning ma’am!!”
The confessional looks apparently aren’t the only things changing with the coming season — the Season 5 trailer, which was released last month, revealed some of Cosby’s new and changed friendships.
During an explosive fight at a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”-themed brunch, Cosby and her former friend Meredith Marks get into such a heated argument that the former kicks the latter out of her home, calling her “a sneaky little, snarky little something.”
It’s only one of multiple heated exchanges between the two that are expected to take place in the forthcoming season.
In another brief clip, the two women get into another tiff as Cosby tells Marks, “You’re not always the victim.”
Marks quickly snaps, “No, I am not. You used me for three years. I got the memo.”
As fans may remember, Marks and Cosby were once quite the pair. The jewelry store owner was one of the few cast members who stayed in touch with Cosby after she left the show in Season 3. Marks even brought her back to the show as a “friend” in Season 4.
