Kate Middleton shared a rare home video with her husband, Prince William, and their children as she announced that she finished undergoing chemotherapy for cancer.
In the clip shared to X Monday, the Prince and Princess of Wales walked with their kids — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 — on a trail in the woods.
At one point, Middleton rested her head on Wiliam’s shoulder as they sat together and held hands.
The kids also shared a cute moment in the camera, with George asking, “Is this filming?”
Alongside the video, Middleton shared a lengthy message announcing that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment for her cancer.
“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she wrote.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”
Middleton, 42, said her cancer journey has been “complex, scary and unpredictable” for her and her family and has given her a new perspective on everything.
“This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted,” she continued.
The mom of three said she is not doing what she can to stay cancer-free.
“Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” she wrote. “I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.”
Middleton said she and William, 42, “are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time.”
In March, Middleton revealed she was diagnosed with cancer — more than a month after her father-in-law, King Charles III, announced his own cancer diagnosis.
At the time, the royal said the cancer diagnosis came as a “huge shock” to her and her family and that she and the future king wanted to keep the matter private so their minor children could “understand and process the news.”
Middleton stayed ut the public eye for most of her treatment and only made public appearances at the Trooping the Colour parade in June and at the Wimbledon tennis championships in July.
The type of cancer the princess had was never disclosed.
