Restaurateur Keith McNally slammed Lauren Sanchez and some of the Kardashian clan as “repulsive” in his latest Instagram post.
“Am I alone in finding this photo repulsive beyond?,” the outspoken Balthazar owner wrote alongside a snapshot of Jeff Bezos’ fiancee posing with Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian at a luncheon earlier this week.
“I wonder what Susan Sontag (whom I knew a little) or Virginia Woolf would have thought of this photo? Any suggestions anyone?”
It’s not clear why the picture upset the 73-year-old businessman, but several Instagram users slammed the critic for “bullying,” while others answered him on what they thought two famed female writers would have said.
Page Six contacted his rep for comment but did not receive an immediate reply.
Sanchez, 54, shared the photo McNally posted on her Instagram feed on Wednesday after Jenner, 68, threw her a lunch to celebrate the debut of her new children’s book, “The Fly Who Flew to Space.”
“I’ve learned so much during the launch of my book and that includes knowing the importance of good friends,” she captioned the snapshot, which was the first in a line of several images from the lunch.
“Women who scoot over and make room for other women to ‘have a seat at the table.’ Women who uplift each other.”
McNally’s criticism from Friday wasn’t the first time he took aim at Sanchez. He made headlines in April for calling her “revolting.”
“Does anybody else find Jeff Bezos’ New wife [sic] – Lauren Sanchez – ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING? What an ugly and F-king SMUG – LOOKING couple they make,” he captioned a slideshow that featured the couple.
Chrissy Teigen, 38, immediately clapped back at McNally, commenting, “She’s actually incredibly dynamic, accomplished and kind and everyone who knows her would say the same.”
Following the pushback from the model and several others, McNally edited his caption to remove the “revolting” part.
Meanwhile, Sanchez brushed his sharp words off by sharing some pointed messages on her Instagram Story.
“People will love you. People will hate you. And none of it will have anything to do with you,” one of her posts read.
The former entertainment reporter shared a quote from fashion designer Rachel Zoe as well.
“Lead with kindness, cheer for those you love. Just honestly wish everyone the best,” the quote encouraged.
