Skai Jackson dodges fan questions about jail during TikTok Live following battery arrest

Skai Jackson returned to social media following her recent arrest, but she remained tight-lipped about her legal troubles.

During a TikTok Live on Wednesday, the “Jessie” alum, 22, was bombarded by fans asking about her Aug. 9 arrest and citation for misdemeanor battery.

“Girl what happened you and jail?” one user asked. But instead of answering questions about her time behind bars, Jackson talked about an upcoming project she recently finished filming.

The “Jessie” actress, seen above in a screenshot from the Live session, dodged questions of her arrest while interacting with fans.

“I have a TV show that I just filmed but I can’t say what it is yet,” she said during the live.

One social media user clapped back, however, and accused Jackson of reading “fake questions” so she could dodge the inquiries surrounding her recent arrest.

“She’s answering everything else except our questions,” another user wrote.

Jackson was also active on Instagram Wednesday, sharing a car selfie in one slide and a link to her Snapchat profile in another.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told Page Six earlier this week that Jackson found herself in legal trouble after she had a heated altercation with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood, Calif.

When security noticed the “Bunk’d” actress push her boyfriend more than once, the police were called to the scene.

After authorities looked at footage of the incident, Jackson was removed from the premises by police and released hours later.

Both Jackson and her boyfriend denied that any physical fight took place despite their interaction being caught on camera.

The LA County District Attorney’s office will determine if there will be any charges brought against the actress.

At the time of the arrest, the couple claimed to be engaged and expecting a baby.

Not much else is known of Jackson’s relationship with her boyfriend as the actress has mostly kept her romantic life private and off of social media.
