Jason Kelce, fashion star?
The former NFL player, 36, made a memorable return to Lincoln Financial Stadium on Monday night — his first since retiring from the Philadelphia Eagles at the end of last season.
And on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights,” the podcast Jason shares with brother Travis Kelce, the duo discussed his memorable dance moves and eye-catching green velour tracksuit.
“Everyone thinks I’m the dancer; you’re the most electric f–king dancer,” the Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, declared while laughing hysterically over Jason’s moves — which Jason insisted were performed “stone-cold sober.”
“Did you feel as Italian as you looked?” Travis asked, with his elder brother replying, “You know when you dress up in a uniform, you feel more official?”
Declared Travis, “That’s exactly why I dress up. That’s the feeling I get when I dress up … a good two-piece, that’ll make you feel like you’re in costume.”
Jason dubbed the look his “South Philly tuxedo” in a skit that showed Eagles employee Dom “Big Dom” DiSandro gifting him the set before “Monday Night Countdown.”
There were some complaints about the look, however.
“By the way, velour — not very breathable,” Jason said. (Perhaps that’s why the NFL great later swapped the hoodie and pants for a more traditional dark green suit.)
He also had to make some last-minute alterations to the athletic outfit.
“We had to sew on these Italian flags, because it was really an Eagles tracksuit,” Jason said, joking, “But they didn’t want me to have an Eagles thing on. Didn’t want me to show any bias, which I get.”
Added the athlete, “I think the Italian flags really sent it to another level, I had some nice chains on. It was a fun look.”
Travis concurred, saying, “You looked great, shout-out to Big Dom.”
The brothers have had plenty of back-and-forth about their fashion in recent podcast episodes.
Travis ribbed Jason last week after he had an epic wardrobe fail during his “Monday Night Countdown” debut, forgetting his suit and making a last-minute lululemon purchase that was a tad bit too small.
And Jason has playfully hit back at his little brother, mocking his all-white Gucci outfit for the US Open that included a bucket hat and cardigan.
