Trump’s disgraced ‘fixer’ Michael Cohen insists he was not trying to crash a NYFW event

Is Michael Cohen out of fashion?

Sources buzzed to Page Six that they saw Trump’s disgraced former fixer trying to blag his way into the uber intimate and star-studded Harper’s Bazaar Icons bash at Le Veau d’Or during NYFW.

But he swears to us, he was just trying to make a reservation for dinner on another night.

“He tried to sweet talk his way in, thinking they would recognize him,” said our spy. “They wouldn’t let him in. After about five minutes he decided to leave looking pretty bummed.”

But Cohen tells us, “Not true.”

“I went there with my son to make a reservation for my daughter’s upcoming birthday and learned at the door that there was a private party and could not speak to the reservation manager,” he told us.

Why would he not just book online?

“I haven’t been there yet and literally live one block away. So walked over,” he said.

Le Veau d’Or just reopened on the Upper East Side with Frenchette’s Chef Lee Hanson and Chef Riad Nasr at the helm after purchasing the storied spot from the Treboux family.

The restaurant first opened in 1937 and was a favorite of Orson Welles, James Beard and Jacqueline Onassis.

Bazaar editor-in-chief Samira Nasr is new owner Riad’s sister.

Those at the Icons bash — which was a smaller affair than past years when it was held at the Plaza — included Martha Stewart, Natasha Lyonne and Fran Lebowitz.

Naomi Campbell also attended, but was late as usual, says the spy, who notes the model also attended Bulgari’s party at Refinery at Domino in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Trump’s one-time attorney Cohen was, of course, one of the star witnesses at the former president’s historic hush money trial.

He previously served prison time after taking two guilty pleas in 2018 in federal cases for tax evasion, making false statements to a bank, campaign finance violations and lying to Congress.
