Yung Miami says her relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was ‘beneficial’ for both of them

Yung Miami is speaking out for the first time about her former relationship with disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs after his bombshell lawsuits and sex trafficking investigation.

The former City Girls rapper — born Caresha Brownlee — said her arrangement with Combs was “beneficial” for both of them during Thursday’s episode of her “Caresha Please” podcast.

“I think that I was able to come in and be a brand ambassador for DeLeon [Tequila] and take it to a whole ‘nother level,” she said.

“I feel like I was an asset. I honestly feel like with Diddy … I don’t know what his intentions [were] — whether it was business or he really liked me — but when he got with me, he really saw something in me.”

“I feel like I came into his world and I was able to turn everything he had going on up a notch,” Yung Miami continued, noting that she launched her podcast with Revolt on Combs’ suggestion.

“With him, he was able to take my career to the next level. I did the Met Gala, I got ready for Vogue.”

Additionally, the “Act Up” rapper, 30, claimed she wasn’t interested in getting purses or flying on private jets.

“I feel like I’m up under a mogul, I want to learn something,” she explained. “I want to learn business. I went into that relationship thinking I want to become a mogul.”

Combs, 54, and the Miami-born hitmaker first sparked dating rumors in 2021, though they didn’t confirm their relationship until June 2022.

He was first accused of rape and domestic abuse by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who claimed in her November 2023 legal filing that the Bad Boy records founder frequently subjected her to violent physical abuse throughout their decades-long relationship.

The two parties quickly settled for an undisclosed amount of money within 24 hours of Ventura’s filing.

But that was only the start of Combs’ legal troubles as the Grammy winner was hit with seven more lawsuits accusing him of drugging, raping and trafficking women over a 30-year timespan.

In addition to the lawsuits, he’s also currently under investigation by Homeland Security for sex trafficking. In March, his homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by the feds.

In one of the lawsuits levied against Combs, producer Rodney “Lil’ Rod” Jones — who is suing Diddy for sexual assault — named Yung Miami, Instagram model Jade Ramey and 50 Cent’s ex Daphne Joy as sex workers under Combs’ employment.

Yung Miami denied the allegations in April, saying, “I’m not a prostitute. I never sold ?a day in my life. & I hate how this is getting spun ?.”

While she claimed she didn’t share the same experience as some of Combs’ accusers, the “Caresha Please” host revealed on Thursday’s episode that she’s no longer involved with him in light of the allegations.

“With everything going on, I don’t want to get caught up in that. I just need a minute to pour into me,” she said.
